Who looks after your information
ItsBalderston is run by Amy Balderston, who is responsible for the information described here. Email: amy@itsbalderston.co.uk
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered, including any personalisation you typed. We do not see or store your card details: those go straight to Stripe.
If you put items in your basket without ordering, the basket is kept for 30 days and then deleted. It is not linked to your name.
Why we collect it
To make and post your order, to email you about it, to answer your questions, and to keep the records the law requires of a business. We do not use it for marketing and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
Only the companies we need in order to run the shop: Stripe, who take payment; Royal Mail, who deliver; my email provider, who send our emails; Laravel Cloud, who host this website; Sentry, who tell us about errors on the site, and Postmark who send transactional emails (orders etc.).
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, as tax rules require, and then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we do not have to keep it. Email us and we will sort it out. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
